Helping Letting Agents

After extensive research, we identified that students don't want the hassle of managing and splitting utility bills between housemates. UniHomes was created to provide a platform for landlords and agents to advertise their portfolios on. Every property featured on UniHomes includes bills.

We cater for the whole market. UniHomes has a package to suite your requirements, to enable you to advertise with the benefit of all inclusive, without the usual hassle and issues that come along with it. UniHomes is the perfect way to advertise your portfolio and generate the maximum number of enquiries.
UniHomes has the solution to ensure your property is let quickly and efficiently whilst having minimal involvement with managing the utilities.

UniHomes will add a competitive 'mark-up' to your rental prices, manage and collect Direct Debits for the utilities directly from the tenants. We'll market your properties as all-inclusive to ensure you receive the maximum number of enquiries possible.

We just need your help at the point of sign up and then we will handle the rest!

Your dashboard is effectively your control panel. It allows you to change, monitor and track the performance of properties. Your portfolio evolves from here from adding, editing and activating properties.

For landlords or agents who want to advertise each year, your portfolio is saved in your landlord’s dashboard, so in following years you can begin advertising in just a few clicks!
From your dashboard, click 'Account' at the top righthand of the screen, then select 'Edit Profile'. From here, you’ll be able to update or change your profile information such as your address and contact details, along with your company logo.

You can also receive a text with UniHomes enquiry notifications through to your mobile by entering your mobile number into the account details page.
If you have forgotten your password, click the 'reset password' link on the landlord login page, and we'll send you an e-mail to reset your password.

If you are already logged in and would like to change your password, simply click 'Account' at the top right hand of the screen then select 'Edit Profile', from here if you scroll to the bottom of the page you can reset your password.
From the Landlord Dashboard, click 'Account' at the top right-hand of the screen, then select 'Edit Profile'. From here, you’ll be able to update or change the email address that you use for UniHomes.
From your dashboard area, click the 'Add New' button.

We've made it simple for you to add key information about your property. We don't ask you to write a lengthy description with irrelevant jargon! Just up to 8 key points that will sell your property to students.

We advise landlords or agents to add good quality photos for each property. Students love to see what the house is like internally before a viewing, so a good selection of photos will get your properties noticed. You can rearrange the order of your photos by simply dragging them into your desired order.

Feel free to get in touch if you need any help adding a property, we're always here to offer advice!
Select the 'edit' button which is displayed under each property listing in your dashboard.

You can then make changes to your listing should you have made any errors or think of any additional selling points!
We always advise landlords and agents to review properties before making them live. In your dashboard there is a preview button beside each property (magnifying glass icon). From here, you can review what the listings will look like to a student before making them live on UniHomes.
You can reactivate an old listing by clicking the 3 dots next to the property address and selecting ‘make live’ from the drop down. You can activate multiple properties at once by selecting the tick boxes and clicking the ‘make live’ button at the bottom of the page.
Once your property is let or no longer available, you can deactivate a let property by clicking the 3 dots next to the property address and selecting ‘Make Not Live’ form the drop down.

You can deactivate multiple properties at once by selecting the tick boxes and clicking the ‘Make Not Live’ button at the bottom of the page.
This will remove the property from the search listings on the website. It's worth noting that the property will remain in your portfolio should you wish to activate the listing on the site again at a later date.
Once a property has been filled, we always recommend that landlords and agents deactivate their properties rather than deleting them. This allows properties to be readvertised quickly and easily in the next letting season or should the tenancy fall through. If you no longer own or manage the property, you can delete them by falling the steps below:

Select the property(s) tick boxes from your Landlords Dashboard, and hit the red delete button.

You'll be asked to confirm your selection, just in case you accidentally hit the wrong button!
We have developed a sophisticated analytics system, so you are able to monitor each listings performance and your overall presence on UniHomes.

If you click into the Analytics tab at the top of your Dashboard you’ll be able to see how your listings are performing.

If there are any properties that aren’t performing as well as expected, you can also boost properties up to the top of the search results to increase the likelihood of it being seen within search results
There is the option to 'boost' or 'feature' any of your listings to increase their visibility within the search results.

If you ever want to discuss the analytics further, you can contact your account manager by giving the office a call – 0330 822 0266
The analytics will show you how your listings are performing as a whole or individually.

You can see how many times your properties have been seen in search results (impressions), how many times your property has been viewed (clicks) and how many enquiries (total enquiries) you have received. All of this information is then collected to show you the conversion rate.
You can buy bundles of boost credits which can be used to 'boost' any of your property listings to the top of the search results.

You can boost any of your properties as many times as you like!
You can check your boost credit balance within the Landlords Dashboard. There will be a number shown in the top right corner over the rocket symbol.
