Helping Letting Agents

After extensive research, we identified that students don't want the hassle of managing and splitting utility bills between housemates. UniHomes was created to provide a platform for landlords and agents to advertise their portfolios on. Every property featured on UniHomes includes bills.

We cater for the whole market. UniHomes has a package to suite your requirements, to enable you to advertise with the benefit of all inclusive, without the usual hassle and issues that come along with it. UniHomes is the perfect way to advertise your portfolio and generate the maximum number of enquiries.
UniHomes has the solution to ensure your property is let quickly and efficiently whilst having minimal involvement with managing the utilities.

UniHomes will add a competitive 'mark-up' to your rental prices, manage and collect Direct Debits for the utilities directly from the tenants. We'll market your properties as all-inclusive to ensure you receive the maximum number of enquiries possible.

We just need your help at the point of sign up and then we will handle the rest!

The landlord dashboard is effectively your control panel. It allows you to change, monitor and track the performance of properties. Your portfolio evolves from here from adding, editing and changing properties.

For landlords or agents who want to advertise each year, your portfolio is saved once in your landlords dashbooard, so in following years you can begin advertising in just a few clicks!
From the Landlords Dashboard area, click the 'add a property' button.

We've made it simple for you to add key information about your property. We don't ask you to write a lengthy description with irrelevant jargon! Just key information that will sell your property to students.

We advise landlords or agents to add photos for each property. Students love to see what the house is like internally before a viewing, so a good selection of photos will get your properties noticed.

Feel free to get in touch if you need any help adding a property, we're always here to offer advice!
Select the 'edit' button which is displayed beside each property in the Landlord Dashboard area.

You can then make changes to your listing should you have made any errors, or think of any additioanl selling points!
We always advise landlords and agents to review properties before making them live. In the landlords dashboard there is a preview button to the right of each property (magnifying glass icon). From here, you can review what the listings will look like to a student before making them live on UniHomes.
When you pay for a property advert, the listing will automatically become active (dependant on the start date you select).

If for any reason the property is de-activated, you can re-activate it by selecting the relevant property(s) from the Landlord Dashboard, and clicking the 'activate' button (please note, you will not be able to activate an unpaid property).

You can activate multiple properties at once by selecting the tick boxes and clicking activate.
Once your property is let or no longer available, simply select the relevant property(s) from your Landlord Dashboard and select the 'De-activate property' button.

This will remove the property from the search listings. It's worth noting that the property will remain in your portfolio should you wish to activate the listing again at a later date.
Once a property has been filled, we always recommend that landlords and agents deactivate their properties rather than deleting them. This allows properties to be readvertised quickly and easily in the next letting season or should the tenancy fall through. If you no longer own or manage the property, you can delete them by falling the steps below:

Select the property(s) tick boxes from your Landlords Dashboard, and hit the red delete button.

You'll be asked to confirm your selection, just in case you accidentally hit the wrong button!
We have developed a sophisticated analytics system, so you are able to monitor each listings performance and your overall presence on UniHomes.

This page will show statistics such as overall page views, enquiries and how many times your properties have been displayed in search results.

Individual statistics for each property are shown along with any trends which may lead you to understand why a particular property isn't performing as well as others.

You can also boost properties from this view, which comes in handy should a property not be performing as well as others!
From the Analytics page, you have the option to reset a particular properties statistics.

Alternatively, to reset all property analytics, simple select the relevant listings and hit the red 'reset analytics' button.
