Advertise Student Accommodation with UniHomes

Students don't want the hassle of managing and splitting utility bills between housemates. UniHomes was created to provide a platform for landlords and agents to advertise their portfolios on. Every property featured on UniHomes includes bills.
UniHomes markets your properties as all-inclusive to ensure you receive the maximum number of enquiries possible, ensuring your property is let quickly and efficiently. We add a competitive 'mark-up' to your rental prices, and you’ll have minimal involvement in managing the utilities. We’ll collect Direct Debits for the utilities directly from the tenants.
Get in touch with us to find out more.
Advertising with UniHomes is completely free. We’re able to offer our marketing platform at no cost to you, as our revenue comes from the utility service we provide.
Your dashboard allows you to change, monitor and track the performance of all the properties in your portfolio. You can add, edit, activate and deactivate properties from here.

Your portfolio is saved in your dashboard so, for letting agents who want to advertise each year, you can begin advertising again in just a few clicks.
From your dashboard, click 'Account' at the top righthand of the screen, then select 'Edit Profile'. From here, you’ll be able to update or change your profile information such as your address and contact details, along with your company logo. You can also choose to receive enquiry notifications via text message by entering your number into the account details page.
If you have forgotten your password, click the 'reset password' link on the letting agent login page. We’ll send you an e-mail to reset your password.

If you’re already logged in and would like to change your password, simply click 'Account' at the top righthand of the screen then select 'Edit Profile’. You can reset your password here.
From your dashboard, click 'Account' at the top righthand of the screen, then select 'Edit Profile'. From here, you’ll be able to update or change the email address that you use for UniHomes.
From your dashboard area, click the 'Add New' button.

We advise landlords or agents to add good quality photos for each property. A good selection of photos will get your properties noticed. You can rearrange the order of your photos by simply dragging them into your desired order.

Feel free to get in touch if you need any help adding a property, we're always happy to offer advice.
Select the 'Edit' button displayed under your property listing. You can then make changes to your listing. You can also add new photos or change any errors.
We always advise you review properties before making them live. Use the preview button (the magnifying glass icon) beside each property to see what it will look like when live on UniHomes.
You can reactivate an old listing by clicking the ellipsis next to the property address and selecting ‘Make Live’ from the drop down. You can activate multiple properties at once by selecting the tick boxes and clicking the ‘Make Live’ button at the bottom of the page.
Once your property is let or no longer available, you can deactivate the property by clicking the ellipsis next to the property address and selecting ‘Make Not Live’ from the drop down menu. This will remove the property from the search listings on the website. The property will still remain within your portfolio, should you wish to activate the listing at a later date.

You can deactivate multiple properties at once by selecting the tick boxes and clicking the ‘Make Not Live’ button at the bottom of the page.
Once a property has been filled, we always recommend that you deactivate the property rather than deleting it. This allows properties to be reactivated quickly during the next letting season, or if a tenancy falls through.

If you no longer own or manage the property, you can delete the property by selecting the property’s tick box from your dashboard, and click the delete button in red.
We have developed a sophisticated analytics system, so you’re able to monitor the performance for each of your listings and your overall presence on UniHomes. If you click into the ‘Analytics’ tab at the top of your dashboard, you’ll be able to see how your listings are performing.

If you ever wish to discuss the analytics of your properties further, contact your Account Manager on 0330 822 0266.
If there are any properties that aren’t performing as well as expected, you can 'boost' or 'feature' any of your listings to increase their visibility within the search results. We also have a post on the Resource Centre on how to make your properties stand out, read it here.
The analytics will show you how your listings are performing, both as a whole or individually. You can see how many times your properties have been seen in search results (impressions), how many times your property has been viewed (clicks), and how many enquiries (total enquiries) you have received. All of this information is then collated to show you the conversion rate.
Boosting a property will bump your listing to the top of the search results in your city. You can boost any of your properties as many times as you like. Boost credits are available to buy in bundles.
Watch our video on how to boost your property on the Resource Centre.
By boosting a property, you increase the chances of students clicking on your listing, and therefore boosting the chance of receiving enquiries.
The number of boosts you have remaining will be displayed in red above the rocket icon in the top righthand side of your dashboard.
To buy boosts, click the rocket icon in the top righthand side of your dashboard. Watch our video on how to boost your property to find out more.
