Bath Spa University Student Accommodation
Bath Spa University is the university of choice for 8000 students, offering higher education programmes across a wide range of subjects and with that aims to be the leading institution in creativity, culture and enterprise.
Based in one of the UK’s top 10 creative cities, it’s no surprise that Bath Spa University is one of the leading universities in creative and performing arts. This is evident by the development of the new Locksbrook campus, of Bath School of Art and Design, located on the River Avon. Locksbrook, is just one of the four Bath Spa campuses all of which are housed in iconic architecture around the city.
Newton Park Campus is home to a modern university based in the Newton parkland estate, where it has its own nature reserves, historic listed buildings as well as the modern academic building. Here you will also find the university theatre and concert hall and even though this campus is equipped with the best digital resources in the south west, you could still find yourself studying in the 14th century castle tower.
Bath Spa students’ union is also located on the Newton Park campus, which as we know is central to university life. The students’ union has something to offer everyone studying at Bath Spa whether that’s joining a creative writing society, having a drink or two in the SU bar or using the student support service on offer.
The campus at Sion Hill is home to excellent fashion and textile workshops, the specialist art and design library and has an immense selection of facilities specifically for the design industry.
It may not be located directly in Bath, the Corsham Court campus, is based just east of the city in Wiltshire, and students studying here have the luxury of a Grade I listed building as home to their studies. This breath-taking campus is just one of many spectacular studying environments that Bath Spa University offer.
Although most campuses of Bath Spa are located west of the city centre, the campuses have good transport links to the city aswell as other popular student areas, including Oldfield Park. Oldfield Park is a popular choice with students looking to rent privately while studying at Bath Spa. If you’re looking for a home for a larger group of friends, you’ll find a huge range of choice in larger sized 4 bedroom, 5 bedroom or 6 bedroom properties here. Lower Bristol Road, in Oldfield Park is a good spot when it comes to the usual student favourites with a wealth of choice of take aways and restaurants to choose from.
