Bucket List Competition: We Have Our Winner!

We have a winner 👇

Last month, we gave you the chance to tick off a dream experience from your bucket list as part of the #UniHomesPayMyBucketList competition.

From skydiving in Bali to snorkelling in Australia, we vowed to make it happen for one lucky winner, and the response was overwhelming to say the least! We loved reading your entries and wish we could have made them all a reality – gorilla treks in Uganda, shopping trips to NYC, swimming with dolphins in the Bahamas – they all sound like adventures we want to be a part of 🔥

Of course, there could only be one winner… 

A MASSIVE congratulations to our winner, Izzie Latuszka from Cardiff, who entered our competition by tagging her friend to be in with a chance of ticking an item from her bucket list.

We were absolutely BUZZING to give Izzie the chance to go sledding with the most adorable huskies as part of an all-expenses paid trip to Canada, recreating one of her fave films, Snow Dogs! 🐶

While the trip itself will be taking place next year, we wanted to make the announcement as special as possible. So, we got in touch with her sister, who put us in touch with her housemate…

When the day came around, Izzie was just cleaning her kitchen when our video lorry showed up to Talybont South Halls of residence at Cardiff Uni. We gave her a call, and within minutes, Izzie was face-to-face with a pack of the most adorable fur babies just waiting to be walked!

Izzie got the chance to walk the dogs all day and get to know her soon-to-be travel companions. It was amazing to be able to give a student the chance to take their mind off the current situation and have something to look forward to, and we’re so excited for the snowy adventures to come.

Izzie, we hope you loved it as much as we did, and we can’t wait to get your bucket list Canada trip all booked up.

As a thank you for everyone that entered, we also gave away a couple of runners up prizes! Congrats to Holly, who's bucket list item was to snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef... we couldn't get her to Aus, but w did the next best thing! She won two tickets to visit Sea Life in Birmingham to see the fishies 🐠

Not to mention Holly (yes, another Holly!), who wanted to go on a safari with elephants. We sent her a year's subscription to adopt an elephant as one of our runners up 🎉
