When is A-level results day 2026?

For students in England and Wales, results day falls on Thursday 13th August this year. This day is different for Scotland, where results day falls much earlier on 4th August.

Remember, this day isn’t just limited to those who have studied A-levels; BTEC and T Level results are also released on this day.

Where to get free food on A-level results day 2026

1. Free starter or ¼ chicken at Nando’s 🌶️

What’s results day without a trip to Nando’s? This year, Nando’s is returning with their Results Day Dash, where anyone who shows both their student ID and their results on 13th August 2026 gets a free starter or ¼ chicken (as long as you spend over £7).

Want to make the most of your money this results day? Make your way to Pizza Express before 5pm on 13th August and show your exam results to get 90 minutes of unlimited pizza and dough balls for just £12.50.

3. Free iced matcha at Bird & Blend 🍵

Get your matcha fix with Bird & Blend, who’s offering a free iced matcha to any student who shows their results in-store on results day.

Las Iguanas is feeling generous this year – they’re offering both a free starter AND a free dessert with any main meal for anyone who shows their results on 13th August 2026 (provided you’ve also claimed your voucher online).

TGI Fridays is providing the refreshments this year, with a free dirty soda for students who show their exam results on results day.

6. Free starter and dessert at Bella Italia 🍽️

If you’re more of an Italian-food fan but still want to score a free starter and dessert, you’re in luck. Bella Italia is giving away a free starter and dessert with any main on 13th August, as long as you claim your voucher online and show your results when you order..

7. Free garlic & mozzarella bombe at Zizzi 🍝

Zizzi is making things competitive this year, as the first 50 students at each participating Zizzi will get a free garlic & mozzarella bombe alongside any soft drink purchase on 13th August 2026. Just make sure you bring your results and mention the offer when you get seated to claim your freebie.

Don’t worry if you miss out, though – throughout the rest of the day, Zizzi will be offering a student discount of 50% off a garlic & mozzarella bombe or a chorizo & mozzarella bombe for any student who buys a soft drink and shows their results to the server.

Banana Tree is also hopping on the free starter and dessert train this year, as they’re giving out a free starter and dessert to anyone who buys a main meal and shows their exam results on 13th August. Just make sure you sign up for your voucher online beforehand to be eligible.

Satisfy your sweet tooth with free dessert at Bill’s. Valid from 11:30am onwards on 13th August 2026, all you have to do to claim your freebie is show the server your exam results when you order from the À La Carte menu.
