If your parents knew that Greggs was about to form a staple part of your diet, we’re not sure they’d approve. However, Greggs has something for everyone, and if you buy a sandwich deal and show the server your student ID or a Student Beans card, you can get a sausage roll, vegan sausage roll, cheese and onion bake, or a sweet treat for absolutely nothing. Between Sunday and Thursday at a Slug & Lettuce near you, you can get 25% off selected meals, making eating out a bargain. You just need your student ID and to download MiXR, which is a handy little app full of deals at bars and pubs.

One whole pizza for half the price? It’s just so crazy it might work! With a Student Beans account, you can get 50% off any full price pizza at Domino’s. Free burgers at Burger King 

We know the feeling - you get to the checkout of a fast-food restaurant and think, “Actually, today I’m hungry enough for two burgers.” Well, you’re in luck! If you show your student ID when you’re paying for a Chicken or Vegan Royale, Burger King will give you another one totally free. That’s two burgers for the price of one, meaning you can either have a great time eating twice as much, or share it with a very lucky friend. They owe you next time.

25% off Chiquito and Las Iguanas  

How many burritos can you eat before your body gives in? You could soon find out! If you order two or more mains at Chiquito and show your student ID or Student Beans ID, you’ll get 25% off your total bill. Stick your fake sombrero on and enjoy.  

Over at their Latin American rival, Las Iguanas, you can get 25% off food and drinks between Sunday and Thursday. One student ID will get a table of up to six people the discount, meaning no fumbling around in bags for cards at the end of the meal. Heads up though - if you’re studying in Scotland, this discount is only valid on food.

With a Student Beans account or TOTUM card, you can get 20% off any order at Frankie & Benny’s. Picture the scene - you’ve just finished a series of very tough lectures, you and your housemates are desperate for some carbohydrates, and right in front of you is pile of pasta with a very tasty 20% off. Suddenly everything is alright again.
