Description
A remarkable five-bedroom Victorian home with an architect-designed studio and panoramic London views, West Hill, SW18
Set over four floors on a quiet road off West Hill, this is a rare and characterful home of around 1,871 sq ft, a house that has been genuinely loved and thoughtfully created.
The ground floor offers two reception rooms, a sunroom that draws in the light and a generous kitchen, with a private garden beyond. The upper floors are arranged to suit a family, with well-proportioned bedrooms and three bathrooms plus a separate WC.
The heart of the house is the top two floors, an architect-designed studio created by the current owner. Flooded with light from multiple skylights, with close to 180-degree views across London and a sense of calm you very rarely find in the city, it is a wonderful space to paint, practise yoga, work from home or simply retreat to at the end of the day. For anyone who would prefer more conventional rooms, the space divides easily to create a further bedroom, so the house works equally well kept open or as a full five-bedroom home.
Amerland Road is superbly placed for the green spaces of Wandsworth and Putney, local shops and highly regarded schools, with East Putney Underground (District line) and Wandsworth Town rail close by for fast access into central London.
A distinctive home that will reward the right tenant. Early viewing is strongly recommended.
