Lockleaze: TV royalty. Didn't expect that, did you? This small Bristol suburb has been used for the filming of Channel 4's 'Teachers' (starring James Corden and Matthew Horne), BBC's 'Thirteen' (featuring Jodie Comer) and the 1962 film 'Some People'. Adding to its creative credentials, many of the roads here are named after famous artists, although there's no Banksy Boulevard - the street planners missed a trick there.
Found in Bristol's northern suburbs, Lockleaze is handily located for UWE students. It's around 20 minutes to
Frenchay campus on the bus, or half an hour to walk. it's 50 minutes from the Bristol Uni campus and about 40 minutes to
Bristol city centre by bus.
