City Centre

West End

Finnieston

Dennistoun 

If a quieter scene is for you, Dennistoun might be for you. Connected through great transport links, it has a nice range of cafes and bars close to Alexandra Park but doesn’t possess its own vibrant nightlife. 

Partick 

Partick is a notably popular student area, and for good reason. Affordable places are competitive here because transport links to the city centre are great, and it’s close to cheap eateries, shops, and campus (for those at the University of Glasgow). 

Anniesland 

Inexpensive and close to transport links, Anniesland is a great first place to live as a student in Glasgow. If you don’t mind a 15-minute bus ride or 40-minute walk to the University of Glasgow campus, this is the place for you.
