Let us introduce you to our student accommodation in Sheffield, Redvers Tower. The modern property is situated in an ideal location no matter the university you’re attending. If you’re studying at Sheffield Hallam University, you’re only a 5-minute walk away, whilst the University of Sheffield is a 15-minute walk away.
With modern rooms offering up great city views of the Steel City, fantastic amenities, and unbeatable social spaces, Redvers Tower sure ticks all the boxes of the perfect student home. When it comes to deciding upon a room, there are multiple options that appeal to everyone's needs. All of our rooms come equipped with an en-suite bathroom, a double bed, a study desk with a chair and storage space.
If you want to share a communal kitchen with another student but have your own private bedroom, then our two-bedroom apartments are a great option. We also have a range of studios and one-bedroom apartments for those who want complete privacy with their own kitchen space. If you’re planning on coming to uni with your friend or partner, then choose our Twodio room for dual occupancy.
When we said our communal spaces are unbeatable, we really meant it! Our communal area features tons of seating including swinging chairs and couches for you to get to know other residents, as well as a pool table if you want to have some fun.
That’s not all either, we also have a cinema room, which offers up chilled vibes and a big movie screen - late night shows and a takeaway anyone? If you love cooking, then we’re sure you’ll love our bookable dining area, perfect for cooking up a Sunday dinner with friends!
If you need to get some uni work done, we have private study rooms available for you to use. Don’t worry about finding a gym to work out and keep fit, we have one on-site for you to use free of charge.
We take student experiences seriously which is why we host various social events throughout the academic year so you can make memories with other students living here. Permitted payments and tenant information
Permitted payments
For properties in England, the Tenant Fees Act 2019 means that in addition to rent, lettings agents or landlords can only charge tenants the following payments associated with a tenancy:
- Holding deposits (a maximum of 1 week's rent);
- Deposits (a maximum deposit of 5 weeks' rent for annual rent below £50,000);
- Payments to change a tenancy agreement eg. change of sharer (capped at £50 or any reasonable costs);
- Payments associated with early termination of a tenancy (capped at the landlord's loss or the agent's reasonably incurred costs);
- Utilities, communication services e.g. gas, electricity, internet. TV licence and council tax.
- Interest payments for the late payment of rent (up to 3% above Bank of England's annual percentage rate);
- Reasonable costs for replacement of lost keys or other security devices;
- Contractual damages in the event of the tenant's default of a tenancy agreement; and
- Any other permitted payments under the Tenant Fees Act 2019.
