About the Area
Marchmont and the surrounding Southside area are among the most popular student locations in Edinburgh, particularly for students attending the The University of Edinburgh and nearby campuses. Spottiswoode Street is a quiet residential street with a friendly community atmosphere, while still being only a short walk from the city centre, university buildings, libraries, and nightlife.
The area is well known for its independent cafés, restaurants, convenience stores, and green spaces, with easy access to The Meadows for outdoor study sessions, running, or socialising in warmer months. Excellent bus routes and cycle links make getting around the city simple and convenient.
This is an excellent opportunity for a group of students seeking a spacious, well-located, and fully equipped flat in one of Edinburgh’s most desirable student neighbourhoods. EPC rating: D.
