Location
Description
This is quite possibly one of the closest private student houses to Oxford Brookes University that currently exists without being physically inside a lecture theatre. The house is directly opposite the entrance to Oxford Brookes, so if your morning routine involves pressing snooze one too many times, this property gives you a fighting chance of still making it to lectures on time.
The room is in a large, spacious 5-bedroom house, ideal for Oxford Brookes students or sharing professionals who want a comfortable home in a brilliant location. The house has been upgraded and modernised over the last few years, so it feels clean, practical and easy to live in, rather than one of those student houses that looks as though it has been gently haunted since 1998.
Inside, the property comes fully furnished and includes a shared living room, separate kitchen, bathroom and separate WC. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, washing machine and fridge/freezer, so you have everything you need for normal everyday living, from proper meals to emergency toast at midnight.
Each bedroom comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe, desk and chair, making it ready for studying, sleeping and occasionally staring at your laptop while pretending to study. The rooms are available now and are being let individually, so you do not need to find a full group to take the whole house.
Another rare bonus is off-street parking for two cars, which is not something you find every day in this area. The location is also excellent for local shops, buses, Headington, Cowley, Oxford city centre and, most importantly, rolling out of bed and getting to Oxford Brookes without needing an expedition plan.
This is a great student house in a genuinely hard-to-beat location. Rooms in houses this close to Oxford Brookes tend not to hang around for long, so if you want something convenient, furnished, modernised and available now, this is well worth viewing.
