Candan House provides purpose built Student Accommodation for students of The University of Essex. Located to the East of Colchester town centre it is approximately 1 mile/20 minutes walk from the University campus at Wivenhoe.

Candan House is our newest complex providing 53 rooms. 8 of the rooms include en-suite facility and one flat has the option of a communal lounge.

Each of the flats are equipped with a hoover, ironing board, iron, kettle, cooker, fridge, freezer, overn, hob, extractor and microwave. Food storage cupboards are provided in the kitchens and black rubbish sacks and toilet rolls are supplied.

Candan House is part of the Forest Road complex which is made up of an additional 2 blocks of 3 storey flats which provides 124 rooms. Each block also has its own laundry room.

The complex provides a friendly and secure environment to live.

Groups are welcome, subject to availability. Flat sizes vary from 4 to 5 rooms so groups of up 4 or 5 are possible.
