Situated in the county of Dorset, Bournemouth University has two campuses: the Talbot Campus on the Poole side of the boundary with Bournemouth, and Lansdowne Campus, which can be found in the heart of the town centre.

The Talbot Campus is where the main university buildings are located, including the all-important Students' Union and an unrivalled library with all the materials you’ll need to help your studies. You’ll also have a range of restaurants and cafés to choose from where you can chill with your mates and enjoy some well-earned relaxation. Thanks to a surplus of bus services provided by the university, you’ll be able to travel between campuses every 15 minutes during term-time.

At the Lansdowne Campus, you’ll find the Old Fire Station – that’s the Students’ Union nightclub - which is home to an eclectic rotation of DJs who keep the tunes coming ‘til late.

Lansdowne is also home to six teaching and administrative buildings including the Health & Social Sciences centre and the Executive Business Centre.

When you study at Bournemouth, you’ll join a diverse community committed to improving society for the better through sustainability, inclusivity and equality. Friends for life are made at uni, and what better way to meet likeminded people than by joining one of the 130 clubs and societies that BU has on offer? From ballroom dancing to political campaigning, from quidditch to robotics, there’s truly a society for every niche.

If sport is your passion, you’ll fit right in at Bournemouth. SportBU provides a hub for fitness and wellbeing for the entire community – whether you want to get fitter, join your friends for a team sport or train for a marathon, the facilities available make every dream possible.
