Student Accommodation in Bradford
Bradford has earned itself quite a few titles over the years – from Curry Capital of the UK 2010-2016 to City of Culture 2025, there’s not much that Bradford can’t do. And as one of Yorkshire’s biggest cities (the third-biggest by population, in fact, according to Census 2021), it’s no wonder that this vibrant and diverse city attracts over 10,000 students to its streets every year.
If you’re a Bradford student looking for next year’s home-away-from-home, we’re here to help. At UniHomes, we work with letting agents across the city to bring you a wide variety of Bradford student accommodation options, from cosy 1-bed flats for just you or spacious 6-bed homes for you and all your mates. No matter what you’re after, we’ll help you find student accommodation in Bradford that’s right for you – and with bills included, too!
Student life in Bradford
Living in student accommodation in Bradford’s city centre places you in the heart of Bradford’s culture, thanks to museums and theatres like the Bradford Police Museum, the Alhambra Theatre, and the Impressions Gallery. The Broadway shopping centre provides plenty of retail therapy opportunities, too, while Bradford station means that it’s easier than ever to visit nearby Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, and beyond… or to even jet off to Leeds Bradford Airport for a weekend away.
Even better, Bradford city centre is right on the doorstep of the University of Bradford campus, so you can rest assured knowing that getting to your 9 AM lectures from your Bradford student accommodation is easy, no matter where you live.
If you prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, then you might prefer a Bradford student flat or house in Great Horton. This suburb is just a 20-minute bus ride away from Bradford Uni and, despite being quiet, still has all the amenities you need to get by, such as a Tesco Extra, various takeaways, and a gym.
Frizinghall and Heaton offer similar vibes, but are a little further away from the uni than Great Horton. Still, Bradford’s excellent transport links mean that you’re never more than 30 minutes away from campus, which is pretty accessible if you ask us.
Did you know?
There would be no One Direction without Bradford. 1D’s very own Zayn Malik hails from this West Yorkshire city, and even if it has been over ten years since Zayn’s dramatic departure from the group, there’s no denying how iconic Zayn Malik and this British boyband were.
