Nestled between St Sidwells and Polsoe, Mount Pleasant is a highly popular locations for students of the University of Exeter – and it’s easy to see why. At walking distance from Exeter’s vibrant city centre, there’s always plenty to do and a fantastic range of properties that are as spacious as they are affordable.

From gorgeous period properties that have been converted into modern student flats to the large six or seven-bed accommodation on Mount Pleasant Road itself, there’s something for everyone in this in-demand district of Exeter. Old Tiverton Road has some beautiful one-bedroom flats for those who prefer to live alone or with a partner, and Blackboy Road has some stylish student apartments that make for the perfect place to host a party.

When it comes to local amenities, Mount Pleasant has its own fair share of shops, bars, restaurants and cafés, all within walking distance. If you can’t get a slot for an online delivery, there’s always the Co-Op food on Pennsylvania Road or the Garudaa Convenience store to top up on supplies.

Mount Pleasant is also home to St James’ Park, which plays host to the local football team - Exeter City Football Club (also known as the Grecians). A couple of tickets to a game won’t set you back too much and makes for a great day out.
