Newcastle
Newcastle is notorious for its nightlife, so if you fancy hitting the Toon for St Patrick’s Day 2026 then why not give Bongo’s Bingo a go? This students-only St Patrick’s Day special takes place at Boiler Shop (just around the corner from the station in the city centre) on Tuesday 17th March, and at £10 a ticket, it’s great for those who are adamant on sticking to their student budget. Expect fancy dress, Irish singalongs, plenty of prizes, and plenty of chaos.

Rita’s Beer Hall and Ballroom in the city centre is where you need to be when it comes to celebrating St Patrick’s Day 2026 in Leeds. You’ll be a pro at splitting the G by the time you’re finished with their all-you-can-drink Guinness.

Just off Glasgow’s iconic Sauchiehall Street in the city centre is the Irish bar Malones, who’s famed for their huge St Patrick’s Day Street Party. Starting at 11am on Tuesday 17th and going on until 3am (and with entry just a fiver), this Paddy’s Day party is hugely popular year after year – so make sure you get there early to make the most of everything they’ve got on offer. We heard there’ll be a dance floor, live music, face painting, pizza, and spice bags 👀.
