St Patrick’s Day always takes place on 17th March, which falls on a Tuesday this year.

Newcastle

Newcastle is notorious for its nightlife, so if you fancy hitting the Toon for St Patrick’s Day 2026 then why not give Bongo’s Bingo a go? This students-only St Patrick’s Day special takes place at Boiler Shop (just around the corner from the station in the city centre) on Tuesday 17th March, and at £10 a ticket, it’s great for those who are adamant on sticking to their student budget. Expect fancy dress, Irish singalongs, plenty of prizes, and plenty of chaos.

Leeds

Rita’s Beer Hall and Ballroom in the city centre is where you need to be when it comes to celebrating St Patrick’s Day 2026 in Leeds. Perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to go out on a school night but still wants to raise a glass (or several) to St Paddy, Rita’s is hosting bottomless Guinness x pizza brunch the weekend before St Patrick’s Day, for just £35 per person. You’ll be a pro at splitting the G by the time you’re finished with their all-you-can-drink Guinness.

Nottingham

Rock City is known for being one of the best venues in the whole country (let alone Nottingham), so it’s no surprise that this city centre spot is hosting a St Patrick’s Day special. The Rebel Rebel: Pre Paddy’s Party starts at 10pm on Saturday 14th March, and buying your ticket in advance gets you a free Jagerbomb on the night (!).

Glasgow

Just off Glasgow’s iconic Sauchiehall Street in the city centre is the Irish bar Malones, who’s famed for their huge St Patrick’s Day Street Party. Starting at 11am on Tuesday 17th and going on until 3am (and with entry just a fiver), this Paddy’s Day party is hugely popular year after year – so make sure you get there early to make the most of everything they’ve got on offer. We heard there’ll be a dance floor, live music, face painting, pizza, and spice bags 👀.
