Go for a walk down Division Street to sample the fantastic independent businesses and cafés, such as Copper Pot or Steam Yard, or head to the Showroom Cinema to catch the latest blockbuster or indie film you never knew you needed.
And once the sun has set, the city transforms as the theatre district (including the world-renowned home of snooker at The Crucible) opens up. West Street clubs also throw open their doors, and students from all around descend to soak up the city’s nightlife. And while students who live in suburbs like Crookes and Broomhill begin their journeys home from town, those lucky enough to live in student accommodation in Sheffield city centre only have a short walk back!
