Why North & West Earlham is Great for Students
A very popular spot for students of the University of East Anglia, which is based on the other side of Earlham Road, North & West Earlham also has great transport links into the city to reach the Norwich University of the Arts.
North & West Earlham is surrounded by other student areas too. To the north is the area of Bowthorpe, whilst turning eastward takes you towards the Golden Triangle and the City Centre, with Eaton to the south. The Earlham areas position opposite the university makes it a bit more of a student area than its neighbours, and accommodation prices are slightly cheaper because of this.
For a similar reason, there’s a wide variety of property types available here, ranging from 2-bedroom house shares all the way up to large houses with 6-bedrooms or more. You’ll also find all the basic amenities nearby, including express-supermarkets for late night snack runs and a variety of local pubs. For a more thorough shopping experience or for a decent selection of restaurants students in North & West Earlham will need to venture down towards Unthank Road or into the city centre.
Thankfully however, social life is booming due to the proximity of the UEA campus. The Students Union is nearby, hosting various events and operating plenty of activities through their various societies. For students feeling more outdoorsy, parks and countryside walks are mere minutes away.
UniHomes have a great selection of student housing in North & West Earlham available with all-inclusive bills packages, covering utility bills, broadband, and your TV license.
